For a long time coffee houses have been a constitutive part of the Viennese cultural life. Since its foundation in 1955 the Club of Vienna Coffee House Owners has committed itself to the further development of this prolific alliance - coffee and culture - and to increase its recognition both in Austria and abroad. The main goal of the association is the promotion of cultural and artistic events and projects in Viennese Coffee Houses. It unites the well-established, traditional with the young and innovative cafes and thus creates an interesting mélange representing the Vienna Coffee House culture in each and every facet. |
